Lake Fork was originally stocked with over 730,000 Florida largemouth bass between 1979 and 1987, and today it’s recognized as one of the premier bass fishing lakes in the world.
In addition to trophy largemouth and white bass, the lake is home to white and black crappie, channel catfish, sunfish, and bluegill—offering something for every angler. With 315 miles of shoreline and depths reaching up to 70 feet, Lake Fork provides incredible fishing opportunities year-round.
Approximately 80% of the lake’s natural standing timber remains intact, creating the perfect habitat—and a true fisherman’s paradise. Nestled across Hopkins, Rains, and Wood counties, this peaceful getaway is conveniently located just 80 miles east of the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
